Agnes Blackadder Hall is located just a few hundred yards from the world famous St Andrews golf courses and less than a 10 minute walk from the historic centre of St Andrews. There is plenty of car-parking spaces for guests so once you arrive you can park your car and then explore the town on foot.
United College - Upper and Lower College Hall, School III
The Schools and United College occupies one of the oldest sites in the University, at the eastern end of North Street. They are grouped around a quadrangle, which is reached through an ancient archway underneath the square tower of St Salvator’s Chapel.
Hidden behind the ancient facade of The Schools are five modern lecture theatres which feature tiered seating and excellent audio/visual facilities. Four of these lecture theatres are located on the ground floor with disabled access at the rear, and one is located on the first floor which is reached by a stone staircase.
Buchanan Lecture Theatre
The Buchanan Building is home to the University’s School of Modern Languages. It is at the eastern end of Market Street, conveniently placed in the town centre.
The newly refurbished Buchanan theatre is a performance venue which is ideal for opening or closing ceremonies and plenary presentations. It has a capacity of 367 with fully embedded audio/visual equipment and a large stage.
